The Diploma of Music is available through CQUniversity's Regional Conservatorium partnerships in Albury and Wagga Wagga. You will be supported throughout your study and undertake one-on-one instrumental tuition with highly qualified regional conservatorium staff in classical, jazz or popular music.

Program Description

CQUniversity's new Diploma of Music is available by distance education and supported through CQUniversity's Regional Conservatorium partnerships in Albury (with the Murray Conservatorium) and Wagga Wagga (with the Riverina Conservatorium of Music).

This means that you will be supported throughout your study and undertake one-on-one instrumental tuition with highly qualified regional conservatorium staff in classical, jazz or popular music. You'll also study music theory, music history, music technology and instrumental teaching.

This exciting new program will expose you to a variety of learning experiences and you will benefit from hands-on experience combined with academic study in the interpretation and understanding of music.

On completion of this exciting new program you will have the knowledge and practical skills to be successful in your chosen career and may choose to articulate into CQUniversity's Bachelor of Music (Music Studies), by distance, or Bachelor of Music (Jazz and Popular) on-campus in Mackay.
